With its grayish-white exterior, the Qigu Visitor Center was designed based on elements from the sea dikes, river dikes, and salt dikes in the region to incorporate the natural and cultural landscape into the architecture. It appears like an irregular salt mountain standing beside the salt fields, seamlessly blending with the surrounding scenery.
