Southwest Coast National Scenic Area

The Beimen Salt Washing Factory has retained the original wooden roof structure and original salt washing equipment, allowing the cultural history of salt workers in the salt factory to be passed on. Innovative use of local sea salt combined with raw materials from “good farmers and good plants” of the southwest coast gives historical buildings a new life. The launch of a series of “salt” and “plant extract” daily care products led to local recovery.
