Jiangjun Fishing Harbor is a holiday seafood market and a fish auction grounds, as well as an important port for the future Green Highway route around the island of Taiwan.

Entering the port area of Jiangjun Fishing Harbor, you can enjoy the scenes of fishing boats and the fishing village, learn about all the different kinds of fish that have been caught, and eat seafood so fresh it was just caught that day. Most of the offshore fishers leave for the ocean in the middle of the night or in the early morning hours, and will not return to the harbor until noon or afternoon to sort through their catch. Every day from 1 to 2pm, the lively auction house starts to auction off the fresh seafood. Whether it’s fish, shrimp, or scallops, it’s all fresh and delicious, so you’re welcome to come enjoy the fish market, then take a big bite yourself!

In recent years, the Tainan City Government has been organizing the Tainan Summer Music Festival’s Jiangjun Roar concerts at the Jiangjun Fishing Harbor. Famous performers are invited to sing at the festival, then it’s all followed by a spectacular fireworks show. The Festival has attracted people from all over Taiwan to experience the exciting summer atmosphere.
