During the 10-day festival, all the preternatural gather together, and lots of believers and visitors make the festival splendid. Daitian Temple at Nankunshen is a second-grade historical site and has more than three hundred history. It was built to worship Wufu Ciansuei (Wangye of five families) of Family Li, Chih, Wu, Jhu, and Fan. It is said that they came to Taiwan by a plague god boat. The temple, the forecourt, the palace hall, and the garden are totally accounted for 60 thousand level ground and built grandly. The terrain names Nankunshen. Kunshen means the body of Kun. The shapes of sand dunes that distribute along the southwest shore look like the body of Kun. Thus Wufu Ciansuei named it as Nankunshen.
