Kouhu Wetlands in Yuenlin
Shoals at the estuary in Kouhu Wetlands include Tongshan Lagoon, Boziliao Islet and Waisanding lslet. As there is less human intervention and a rich food supply, they have become the major bird habitats. Visitors can ride along the bikeway in the Kouhu Wetlands to appreciate the wetland and grassland ecology.

Aogu Wetlands in Dongshih
Aogu Wetlands is originally a mixed farm for agriculture and animal husbandry. Seawater flows back the area as a result of sinking, thus formed a gorgeous marshland in the west of the farm. As it is surrounded by Casuarina equisetifolia forests, many birds have nested and reproduced there. Similarly, visitors can ride along to watch birds there.

Haomeiliao Nature Preserve
Wetlands and lagoons are the focus of conservation in the area. Many egrets and black-crowned night herons settle in groups in the mangrove forests in the area. In the evening, people can see egrets returning to their nests after searching for food, while the black-crowned night herons are good to go on their hunt.

Bird-watching trips in Sihcao
The Sihcao Wildlife Reserve is located in the Annan District, Tainan City. The habitat diversity there provides rich food sources for migratory birds. A reproduction area for black-winged stilts is set there. The high season for reproduction is between April to June every year.
